A fresh start to the year...

We love our store
and if you noticed anything weird
thats because
strange things
have been going on
especially in the night.



Yep
The store has had a few ups and downs of late
and was feeling a little blue



so for the new year
we decided to bandy together



and make it all white!



So we took advantage of the heat wave and 43 degree days
-the paint dries quicker you know...!
And closed the store over the weekend
oh and monday
oh and friday too
and we got to work.......

We had really yummy breaks thanks
to the St.Kilda Deli
on Barkley street..
especially on Monday, at quartre to 4
when three of us bombarded them.
David was patient as we ordered and ate
the most delicious sandwiches
and lemon slice
and chocolate cranberry cake
and runny cheese
and baguette..
whille he really wanted to go home and cool down
from the sweltering heat..
Thank you David it was all thanks to you
-you got us through a 12 hour slog!



We took down all the stock off the shelves
we took down all the shelves
all the things hanging
all the bags
all the stuff
and we got to work painting.



We painted and we painted and we painted.
White walls
Red trimmings
and a brighter better blue
and we are back trading again.

So thanks for your patience people
thanks for knocking on the windows
and waving and cheering us on.

We love our store and it feels a whole lot better
and everything is all white
