As most of you would know
the dutch are responsible for
producing 'orange carrots'
The EDIBLE guide to the worlds food plants
(that we sell in the store now!)
tells us that 'Growers experimented with
mutant yellow seeds from North Africa in order to
grow a carrot with less bitterness.
Yellow carrots were bred with the
common purple and red cultivators to produce the
orange carrot.'

So we gave our little orange organics a squeeze
to see what would happen....

Hmm, lucky Spiral have this purple carrot juice in a bottle
high in all the good stuff
and a bit of a novelty when entertaining
or having a purple themed party,
you know where to come if you need a magician!!
