Wake up!

Today
little Bella
filled the hand basin in the tea house
and watched the water run down the drain
a couple of times,
in the most curious of ways.
It's a shame there is a drought
and we had to coax her to stop
as her fascination at gravity
was gorgeous.

When her mother and I were talking up at the counter,
Bella sweetly interrupted us
holding her hand out,
"Look!" Bella said.
And there in her hand,
her little tiny hand
was an egg.

Her mother and I gasped
and looked at the 11 eggs left in the opened pack
of Bull frog gully biodynamic eggs.
"Oh!", her mother said
"Lets put that back in the box
and close the lid,
lets put it away,"
ever so gently dealing with a fragile moment.

Bella promptly opened another box.
When her mother steered her away from those,
" No they are sleeping too"
Bella then went for the half dozens.
" No, No lets let them be
the eggs are sleeping
lets let them be."

Bella's mum gently moved her away from the eggs
"We have to go now and let the eggs sleep."
Bella then
turned around to the Bella height stacks of egg boxes
and loudly demamded,
" Oh..... WAKE UP! "
