Where ya been?

Tony, the Elwood General of the General store has moved house
which was a massive job.
The office is still being put together
hence we have not been about the blogosphere.

Instead here are some seeds, collected and planted
just before all that lovely rain.

Broad bean, beet root, rainbow chard, coriander, cos,
rocket, spring onions and some random ones, how exciting.

Tony had to leave behind his veggie garden at his old place
and has enough room to start a new one, all be it mostly in large pots
as he just discovered the soil is not very deep.
Although he may make some raised beds.
' I will find the space,' he yells out as I type.

A new period begins as he sorts out his belongings,
drives truck loads of furniture to S.Vinnies and Sacred Heart mission
and trains Bird the cat to not keep wandering back to his old house,
down the laneway...

Thanks to Damon and Ross who helped move the Piano
on a trolly down the street and around the corner, up the step and into the new abode.
Thanks to Sarah for the loan of the wheelbarrow
and Polly for the wooden trolly thingy, very handy indeed!
Thanks to Nada who rolled things on the skateboard the same route.
Thanks to Swany, lovely new neighbour for your cups of tea,
and Thanks to Holly and Georgia and Jacq
for putting up with the chaos and disorder.
We all must have looked a funny sight
as we hauled boxes of things about in the DARK,
the winter gets dark so early!!!!

Back in blog land soon..well I'm here now but soon with less heavy furniture.
