a wooden statue I have from the Sepik river in PNG.
I have found all of those feathers
they are from many different types of parrots.
I placed them in Sepik's skirt as little offerings
for I believe 'she/he' is a bit magical
in a voodoo, fertility doll kind of way.
I placed my treasures in the skirt
and whispered secrets as I did
and something really great happened.......
