I am off to Turkey and the Black Sea to show work
for an upcoming event
It will a be return of sorts
although I have never been to where I am going
I will revisit my youth
spent in that beautiful county
yet this is not why I go.
I am a guest of the town inviting me
to show in a festival of the arts-
this is a privilege bestowed to me
and 100 other artists from 18 different countries
Today I worked on some images with L
I will travel lightly
as I wont be able to take work that has things like feathers
because I wont be able to bring it back home again
so I take images
memories
of things I have yet to see.
