I woke early and transit acorss Melbourne to watch
Venus, the pea on the plate, begin her transit across the sun
I joined my friend in a big spacious park.
Then I transit to the Melbourne Observatory
and looked through a whole lot of crazy telescopes
some especialy for veiwing the sun, each time a little part of me grew in quiet awe.
Eventually as the crowds gathered
I saw Venus' complete her transit of the sun while projected onto a peice of paper,
for all to see.
A day of true generosity of spirit
A day of looking upwards.
Ancient, Historic and wonerfully sharing.
