I have recently met a new friend

we are both working in the FLUORESCE show
at the NGV studio.

We both are vegetarians
eat organic

and cats.

NGV STUDIO

A world of colour awaits at Fluoresce. Eddy Carroll, Michelle Francis, Nien-San Lee, Rowena Martinich, Rachel Jessie-Rae O’Connor, Tania Schultz, Rosa Tato and Yandell Walton are Fluoresce Studio – a collective united by their love of bright colours, from those found in nature to flashy 1980s fashions. Using adhesive murals, craft-based processes, painting and projection, these Melbourne-based artists invite the viewer to engage with the visual potential of fluorescent colour. Visit as they turn NGV Studio into a testing ground for new work to be exhibited at their residency’s close.

The artists in Fluoresce Studio exploit this understanding – manipulating their chosen medium to arrest our senses into a state of wonder and contemplation.’
